Professor Hongbin Lu is a professor of Department of Macromolecular Science, Fudan University and  a doctoral supervisor. He received his beachlor degree in 1990 at Beijing Institute of Technology amd got his master degree of engineering in 1996 at the same university. In 1999, he recieved his doctor degree of macromolecular chemistry and physics in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science. From 2000 to 2001, he engaged in postdoctoral career to do basic study of polymer engineering (supported by 973 project)  under the guidance of Professor Yuliang Yang at the Department of Macromolecular Science, Fudan University. And then he did one more postdoctoral research of polymer composites under the instruction of Professor Steven Nutt from 2001 to 2004 at University of Southern California. In July 2004, he joined Department of Macromolecular Science, Fudan University and started establishing his own research group.
