Professor Hongbin Lu, as a member of Department of Macromolecular Science, Fudan University, and State Key Laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers, has long been doing fundamental and application research in the field of graphene and graphene-based composites. Our group has undertaken tenth of projects such as projects of National Science Foundation of China, subtopics of project 973 and 863, et al. We concentrate on the synthesis and industrial application of graphene and graphene-based composites. And now we have made some progress in many fields, e.g., low-cost, large-scale production of graphene, synthesis of graphene-polymer composites, graphene-based supercapacitors, graphene transparent films, and so on. At present, we are searching for further development of fundamental and application research of graphene, and we hope that outstanding researchers can join and strive with us.

Job description:

1. Graphene-polymer composites (1-2 person)

Doing research of graphene-based plastics or rubbers. Optimizing the structure of these composites and finding scalable applications.

2. Graphene-based energy materials (1-2 person)

Doing research of graphene-based supercapacitors, li ion batteries, solar cells and other energy storage materials.

3. Graphene-based fibers (1-2 person)

Doing research about graphene-based fibers and search for scalable applications.

4. Graphene-based thin films (1-2 person)

Doing research of graphene transparent conductive films, thermal conductive films, conductive ink and coatings.

5. Graphene-based functional materials (1-2 person)

Doing basic and application research about graphene-based new functional materials and finding their potential applications.

Requirement:

1. You should have already or will get a degree of macromolecule science, chemistry, materials, physics or any other related majors.

2. You are keen on scientific research and can solve problems independently. On the other hand, you need to have a good sense of teamwork and strong communication ability.

3. You are healthy in both mental and physical and have a positive attitude. Of course, no bad habits are required.

Personal terms:

We will provide excellent environment for your living and research according to relative rules of State Key Laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers and Department of Macromolecular Science, Fudan University. Post doctors may get 160-200 thousand per year in view of the contributions you made. For research assistants, detailed salary is negotiable.
